Sorry folks! I know I was supposed to publish the v3 of the Fall chart, but then I noticed I forgot something (again ._.) so I’ll have to push back the release to Monday evening (I want this release to be the final one for the season).
PV list will be updated the same day. A PV list post for the winter season is coming soon as well.

I’ve recently bought a licence for an advanced image manipulation software, and I thought I’d try some of its special filters on an artwork. Because nothing’s better than the delicious Chocola & Vanilla duo, I picked those two as the featured image. Original on the left, reworked one on the right. It’s glowy and way less sharp than the original, but that’s how I intended it to be. Jitsu ni subarashii *-*
Also been using the soft to try an advanced JPEG optimizer on these ones. The compression ratio is sick even with large images, and the quality loss is smaller than in Photoshop (at least that’s how it feels to me). May use this some more in the future.

Edit : Below is a sharper (but less glowy version) :

Omoshiroi… Nice glow effect! Really nice!

What’s the name of that soft? Can you tell me, Uncle?

Saaya’s Neko Works are always amazing!

I used Color Efex Pro, by Nik Software. Expensive but hell, I’ve never seen such an amazing set of filters!
Mine is the version 3.0 (Complete with all 55 filters), which came bundled with Corel Paint Shop Pro X4 Ultimate (that I got for a mere 29$).
You can do pretty awesome things with it :

The glow effect looks good, but the less sharp stuff doesn’t.
Could you make a version without the “less sharp”-filter?

Adding a glow is bound to make edges loose their sharpness, so keeping both of them is kinda difficult. Tried an in-between version of the two (I didn’t keep the settings I used for the process so I kinda did it by trying to remember how I did).

Added the new version at the bottom of this post.

Maybe it’s a tad to bright, well, in my opinion.
But I really like your versions way more than the “original”. :)
