Ryosios (Ryosios)
Ryosios is a big Touhou fan. While I have no particular interest in Touhou, his artworks are definitely worth mentioning. Ryosios’ works are a ballet of colors and light effects, with a strong picture perspective/depth (the background). Seems like he doesn’t wan to place characters in narrow places and prefers wide, as-far-as-your-eye-can-see areas.
What’s really amazing is that he excels in both background and characters alike, with a complex coloring on top of that.
The result is kinda amazing each time, and it’s released in PNG format, so you can enjoy the art without a loss. Resolution may vary, but it’s usually decent.
Many more artworks on his Pixiv profile, which is definitely worth a look.
Website :
None.

As a general rule, I’ll never post more than 5 pictures of an artist when I feature him/her.

Those who didn’t find this one are most likely “M”!
The new GtA is on the sidebar. A bit late, I admit :/
JA post this Saturday. Haven’t been posting much “true” content for a while now, sorry!
I didn’t forget about the chart either, no worries on that side.

Public stress test of Path of Exile starts this weekend (Diablo-like).
Dunno if you’re interested, but I thought I’d mention it anyway
Here is the chart for the upcoming Summer 2012 anime.
This chart will be updated every few weeks until it is considered ‘complete”.
- Date format used in the chart is MM/DD/YYYY.
- Use the URLs inside the chart (baka.bz/aXX) to quickly go to an anime’s official website. You can also go to baka.bz, of course.
- “Movies” are Theatrical Releases, which means that they only air in Japanese theaters. They are not DVD/BD releases.
Version 4 Release notes (06.30.2012) :
And here it is, just in time for the Summer season.
Thanks to cat_clan, Loren, and everyone else for pointing out some anime I forgot. People’s help is always welcome !
As expected, a lot of updates regarding airing dates ! All of the TV series now have a proper airing date. A few additions as well, better late than never.
PVs for the Summer season will be updated very soon too.
As always, please feel free to point out mistakes, or voice your opinions about the chart. The “real” Summer season has begun and obviously, I want the chart as accurate as possible.
Let the Summer season begin ! Hope we get some good stuff to watch.
Version 3.1 Release notes (06.03.2012) :
Quick fix for Binbou-gami ga’s Summary (thanks Aradeid), and added a proper date for Geass Akito (thanks Maximillian and Crys).
Not too comfortable with letting Akito in the OVA section instead of the Movies one, so this may change in the v4.
Version 3 Release notes (05.23.2012) :
Just like the v2, a lot of additions with this one. Yuru Yuri S2 has finally been confirmed, and added to the chart. Blood Lad is still unconfirmed (at least as far as I’m concerned), so it won’t be in the v3 either. Ashura has been delayed to September so it’s been removed from the chart (note that this one is a movie, meaning it airs in Japanese theaters only). Your usual amount of airing dates changes too, and quite a lot of pictures have been updated.
baka.bz‘s list of websites has been updated accordingly.
As usual, if you think I made mistakes in the chart, or if you found shows that I have forgotten, feel free to tell me about it.
Full changelog at the bottom of this post.
Last but not least, a big thanks to all the people who pointed out summer shows for me. It helps me out quite a bit : Thank you.
Version 2 Release notes (04.17.2012) :
There it is. I’m not gonna spoil the details, just read the changelog ![]()
Seems like we got some BL, as well as some porn for this season.
Several TV Series like Blood Lad or Yuruyuri S2 were not added due to the lack of evidence, as I explained before:
I do not plan on adding Yuruyuri (Second Season) to the chart.
I know that many of you are going to tell me “But it’s been confirmed, I saw an article about it”.
All I see is an isolated Japanese article (cos there’s only this one) which is several months old now, and we still have no other confirmation whatsoever. The official website and Moonphase both list a second season, but they do not give any date.
There’s not enough evidence to add this series to the chart for now.
Some movies were not added for the same reason as well. I’ll add them as soon as I get enough proof. No need to rush things, there’s still time.
baka.bz‘s list of websites has been updated accordingly.
Comments and critics are welcome as usual. A big thanks to everyone who gave me feedback. The chart wouldn’t be that big without your help!
Version 1 Release notes (03.28.2012) :
Surprise (for most of you)! April is just around the corner, so it was about time to release the first version of the Summer chart. Looking forward to plenty of shows for this season! You’ll notice the presence of Code Geass, among other OVAs.
I’m now using an additional layer of compression to make the PNG file even smaller (thanks Manabu).
baka.bz‘s list of websites has been updated accordingly.
Please enjoy the first release of the Summer chart and, as usual, feel free to point out mistakes/omissions. Critics are always welcome too. Before you ask me, I voluntarily skipped one movie, as there was too little info to put it in the chart.

Announcing the GtA results on Tuesday.
The new GtA is on the sidebar, so feel free to have a try. This one should be easy!
Beat of the week changed to “Mother”.
If I tell you that this track is from a VN, you should be able to tell me which one
I have several pending emails that I completely forgot about, sorry :/
Will take care of that tonight.

Back from my “business” trip. A 3-days break from work is a good way to take some fresh air. Staying in a 4 stars hotel isn’t that bad either ![]()
Not the kind of things I could afford on a regular basis.
Thought I could work a bit on the chart from the hotel, but that wasn’t possible, time speaking.
Well, I’ll just have to do that now.
Anime series are coming to an end one after another, and I hope you enjoyed them.
Some shows weren’t as good as I expected them to be. We’re still missing a show we can call a “true” masterpiece.

Devilkry and Starz are the only two who found last week’s GtA (which was quite difficult) :
Yotsunoha (to be more precise : this).
Never heard of that anime? Don’t worry, that was the plan
New GtA on the sidebar, which will last until next Monday.
Getting that one wrong is a sin!
Beat of the week changed to “Suppuration -core-” featuring Kotoko.
