Movies BD and OVAs keep coming one after another. Mazui recently released Toaru Hikuushi e no Tsuioku, which some of you may remember from the Fall 2011 chart. Voice acting could’ve been a bit better, but it’s a good watch nonetheless 
Mazui also translated the LN, which I heard is good too.

Delti, Dragon_Slayer_X, frosttz, LaLa-Sama, Lawrence Leong and Romanb found the second GtA of last week, which was Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai. Explanations here.

Beat of the Week has been changed. This week, a veeeery old series is featured. Try to guess it if you can Ah man, this brings back memories.
Speaking about anime, I recommend you the Hotarubi no Mori e OVA that just got released.
It’s a 45 mins long and quite enjoyable romance anime, for boys and girls alike.

Featuring characters from popular series.
Wingheart (wingheart)
Another artist whose artworks focuses on characters rather than backgrounds. Hopefully she does a very good job with the former. I “think” it is a “she” due to her personal tastes described on her profile, but I’m not completely sure.
Anyway, Wingheart’s artworks are easy to recognize because of the coloring methods (multicolored-eyes for example), thin drawing lines, glowing areas, a lot of relief for clothes and a lot of lines for hair.
Wingheart has improved a lot in a very short time span (cf. Pixiv). Her actual style is very pleasant already (and in high-res too). If she continues to refine her techniques, this’ll be a bliss.
You’ll notice that the artist likes to draw characters popular in anime series or games.
The 5th picture is some kind of an extra, as it’s never been posted on any imageboard yet, nor on Pixiv.

So I heard we missed some Karen pics.
I’m unable to find good Pixiv illustrations of her, despite browsing hundreds of pictures :/

We have a JA post on Monday. I’m personally very frustrated to come across so many good foreign Pixiv artists : As I’m trying to focus on Japanese Artists only, I tend not to feature artists from Korea, China and the like, as they wouldn’t fit in the category. However, their works are excellent, and it’s a shame not to talk about them.
I’m seriously thinking about making a category dedicated to Non-Japanese Pixiv artists.
China and Korea are still a part of the Asian culture after all.

Unrelated, but I’m thinking of buying the 5€ Edition of Tera Online, as I’d like to try it out (with the Beta) before I decide to buy it or not. Still, it’s not free, so if anyone’s played the first beta weekend, I’d love to hear your impressions. Screenshots or anything are welcome as well ! Thanks

Anyway, new GtA on the sidebar: hopefully much easier. It’ll last until Friday, since it started a bit late.
Beat of the Week changed to the full version of Meteor Light. Sticking to the Winter season a bit longer.
It seems Nyaa changed their RSS page, and everything is on a single line, which renders AniFetch unusable for that website (thanks Zyrax1 for telling me).
I’ll find a workaround and post an update when I can.
