Japanese Artists – Uki

A well balanced, awesome artist.

Not only does Uki do a great job at drawing characters, but he does very well with backgrounds too! The results are gorgeous pictures with very nice coloring, a delight for the eyes. Not only is the level of detail pretty good, but you can see that nothing is left out, and attention is paid to every little thing. It was pretty hard to pick five pictures for this one :/
Visiting his website or his Pixiv profile is a must do, really.
It seems Uki did some official artwork for the “Ragnarok Online” mmorpg too. I’ve played this mmo for like 5 years, and some pics seem to ring a bell in my head.

As you can see I’ve been doing nothing but praising him in this description, but it’s because he’s worth every bit of praise, imo.

Japanese Artists – Seafh

Back to a few landscapes’n stuff.

Seafh (瓶賀Skylab)

Seafh’s artworks are mostly about landscapes, though he/she sometimes does characters.
As for the themes, I often get this post-apocalypic, post-battle or Man vs Nature feeling, “something” that has taken over mankind. Seafh’s style is close to a “painting style”, which often pairs well when drawing landscapes. The end result is pretty good, but I wish the publications were in higher resolution, because you can hardly appreciate the artworks with a 1000px wide picture :/
