Click on the picture for full resolution Much trouble with the first GtA of this week : only 3 correct answers.
Asawon, Erulim and Ingu found the right anime, which was Kobato !
Ah cmon, it was Ioryogi‘s voice !
Special sample for this second half of the week. Good luck
I should be updating a chart soon, it’s been a little while. Gotta pick one of the two.

Introducing a new post category, with “Remix Madness” (aka BandwidthEater) :
Taking one song from an anime, and compiling a series of remixes based on that song.
Mail subscribers may need to update their subscriptions, in case they want to follow this new category.
This time, it’s quite Techno-oriented, so if this ain’t your style, better pass your way
Click on the picture for full resolution Well, really wanted to do that post today, but I can’t find a way to prevent mp3 files from being cached (client side). I’ll probably give up if I can’t find a solution tomorrow.
If anyone is knowledgeable in cache prevention, I’m all ears. FYI, already tried pragma no-cache thingy and the like : doesn’t work at all.
Anyway, enjoy some Tinkerbell at full res.
Click on the picture for full resolution As you’ve already noticed, I tried something else with last week’s 2nd GtA, by using an ending theme as sample.
Asawon, CyndNinja, Furiten, Hana and LaLa-Sama found the right anime : Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee).
Since when do you watch non-ecchi shows, Lala?
New GtA for this first half of the week, and new Beat of the Week, with “Inori no Uta”.
We have a new category coming tomorrow. I realize that I need to update the Summer chart as well. No time to rest huh.
I just read that Saiunkoku Monogatari‘s novels will come to an end this week, after 8 years of publication.
Will we finally see the dawn of a 3rd season? I sure hope so. I mean, that series’ pure awesomeness.

Ain’t cheap, but I won’t have to worry about bandwidth anymore :3
Still, a pretty good price for what is offered.
I’ve thought of a new category (now that I have no more bandwidth limit) to add to the blog.
Its first post should appear soon.
Btw, any spriter around here? It’s sad to see that Madoka RPGgoing to waste.

Asawon, DisturbedTK, Erulim, Furiten, Ingu, Jumendez-sama, LaLa-Sama, Raitsui and Sniper found the first GtA of this week, which was “Gosick”.
Okay, I admit, maybe it was a bit too easy.
I’m trying something new with the second GtA of this week. Good luck
It’s the weekend, hopefully I’ll have some time to code the dakimakura event.
A few days ago, I stumbled upon this article on, talking about Miku being displayed using “holographic” technology.
I remember making some searches on holography a few years ago, and things sure have changed since then.
Anyway, better have a look at this first :
What’s truly different with this system is that it doesn’t require a mirror/screen/container to produce an holographic image, unlike its siblings made by other companies. The “displayed” object doesn’t need to be on the display table either.
However, the bad point is that it cannot produce a true holographic image (yet), because it doesn’t use a a mirror/screen/container to give the 360° 3D impression. Although, a 120° perspective is quite an accomplishment already.
In a few years, it wouldn’t be surprising to have phones with holography support. As of today, we probably don’t have the means to miniaturize the holographic technology enough to make it fit on a phone. Nothing’s impossible though : it’s been done with hard drives (click on “Continue”) already, so why not for holography? We sure live in an interesting era.
Getting back on topic, we have this video where the conceptor of fVisiOn (that’s how he called this device)
talks about the system. Quite instructive.
If you’re interested in knowing more, you can head over to the project’s homepage here (EN) or here (JP).

I’ve been hard at work for 10 hours (time needed to code this baby) the past 2 days.
There shouldn’t be any problem (at least on your side).
However, if run into trouble, feel free to poke me.
I still need some time to code the “client” for the dakimakura event, so that’ll probably be for tomorrow.
Talking about trouble, I think I’ll be running into a pinch very soon :
256 000 – (190 000 + 8*10 000) = – 14 000 =
Next plan : 100$/Year.
Let me borrow Gentleman Chogath’s death catchphrase : “Oh noooooooo.”

Last’s week’s GtA wasn’t Haruhi, but Lucky Star (listen carefully and you’ll recognize who’s speaking).
Furiten, geraldace, Jumendez-sama, LaLa-Sama and naok got the right answer.
You can now try yourself to the new GtA (sorry, there won’t be much time for this one).
Beat of the Week changed to “Just be friends”. I guess I should put some vocaloid once in a while..
