Borderline 18+, but still works, I guess.

Chart Polls

I have added two new polls to the sidebar :
- How often would you like a chart to be updated?
> Once a week
> Once every 2 weeks
> Once every 3 weeks
> Once every month
> Whichever is fine
- With image charts, you :
> Save it on your PC, then read it offline whenever you feel like it
> Save it on your PC, but in fact you mostly read it online (on websites), and rarely offline
> Read it online only (on websites)

I’d really like your opinions on this, so if you’ve got a spare minute, please consider voting, thanks ! I have allowed sharing as well. These polls may help me with something later on.

Just watched the Nana to Kaoru OAD (second big grey button, then big grey button) and wow.. hot stuff in there. Definitely not concerned by the Bill /sarcasm.
Just like Aki Sora, the fact that it ain’t considered hentai shows how ridiculous the system can be.

The results of last week’s Guess this Anime are here :
Cartographer, Erulim, geraldace, NegiLXXXVIII and Raitsui found the right anime, which was “Gundam 00″, with Setsuna FFFFFFFF. Seiei and Sniper-kun.
There won’t be a Guess this Anime for this week, as I’m moving. If I’m able to grab some temporary internet at my new place, I’ll resume everything earlier of course (according to somebody at the inet agency, that shouldn’t be a problem; however, those people can rarely be trusted).
Beat of the week has been changed to “Mysterious Moon” with Kiara.
I’m actively looking for the full version of this song (must exist somewhere), so if you happen to know where I could find it, be my guest ;)

Summer 2011 Anime Chart v8 (2011.03.07)

Here’s the chart for the upcoming summer anime.
Please keep in mind that because of Japan’s earthquake, some anime may be postponed.

Image chart v8 Release notes (2011.18.08) :
Ah well, Japan likes to release things at the last minute. Added Paperman (in the OVA/OAD/ONA section) and Copihan (in the TV series section. Note that “web” series is more accurate here).

Image chart v7 Release notes (2011.03.07) :
This’ll probably be the last version for the Summer chart, unless something major requires that I update it once again.
Changelog available at the bottom of the post, as usual.
Enjoy the Summer 2011 season.

Image chart v6 Release notes (2011.07.06) :
Lost of changes regarding airing dates, and a few additions & changes.
As usual, the full changelog is available at the bottom of this post.

Image chart v5 Release notes (2011.22.05) :
Mostly airing dates changes, but also a few additions.
While there is only one new TV series, it is not to be neglected, since Mawaru Penguin Drum‘s anime project is led by Kunihiko Ikuhara (Revolutionary Girl Utena, Sailor Moon). This should be something to look forward to, definitely.
Also, Negima’s title now has “Anime Final”. Could this be the end of the Negima anime? Been about 6 years since the first Negima series started airing, if I recall correctly.

Image chart v4 Release notes (2011.08.05) :
A few additions and changes, but nothing too extraordinary.
I know that several anime should appear twice, since they air (or are released) two times within the same season (like Katte ni Kaizou). Still wondering whether I should include them twice or not.
On a side note, thanks to everyone who submitted feedback ;) Had some good remarks in them.

Image chart v3 Release notes (2011.24.04) :
Not so many additions on the TV side : 2 additions and 3 pictures swapped. New content mostly concerns the OVA/OAD/ONA section. I was expecting more series, but oh well.. maybe for the v4.
Changelog available at the bottom of this post. As always, I recommend that you take a minute and read it ;)

Image chart v2 Release notes (2011.10.04) :
Movies have been added (some nice stuff in there, but not for us yet). 4 new TV series, and 1 new OVA. Notice Tinkle and Mel Kishida for Ro-Kyu-Bu ! and Kami-sama no Memo-chou‘s Original Chara Design (respectively). Getting curious to see those animated.

Image chart v1.1 Release notes (2011.27.03) :
Ops.

Image chart v1 Release notes (2011.27.03) :
Ja—n ! I said I was working on the chart, but I never said which one huh.
Here’s the first version of the summer chart. As usual, some nice and weird stuff out there. Remember that some shows may not air at the said date, because of the recent events in Japan.
As usual, I’ll probably give a try to all series, although I’m particularly looking forward to Usagi Drop, Dantalian, Ikoku (caught my attention for a while now), and of course Baka to test.
Some pretty nice stuff in the OVA/OAD/ONA section too, with Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? and.. Higurashi ! Nippah~ (click to enjoy). Movies will be added in the v2.
Like I said, I won’t make an animated PNG version for this one, as I have other plans for this chart. The amount of work needed to bring that “plan” to life is considerable, so it’ll probably be for the v2 or the v3.
Later, I’ll make a post with a list of all the PVs for this season (and update the Spring one too).

Let’s see if you can f.ind the second GtA of this week ;)

My opinion: A 6 episodes long series that I found quite enjoyable. Sad point is that it ends too fast (obviously you often want more of it). Hopefully the anime does not waste time, and you’re quickly drawn into its pace.
This is far from a masterpeice, but still quite good if you like action/fantasy. Lots of blood flying around, just so you know. I found the soundtrack quite enjoyable as well.
Since it’s a very short series, I’d recommend to watch it between 2 long ones; it makes a nice break.
