Yukari is a typical high-school student who listens to her parents and attends school everyday. As she starts to question her way of life, she encounters a group of fashion design students who has a clothing label known as “Paradise Kiss”. The group needs to find a model to showcase their designs in an up-coming fashion show and decides to pick Yukari instead. Initially, Yukari was reluctant to be associated with this seemingly eccentric group, but eventually, she realises that they are really nice people. Furthermore, their passion and enthusiasm to follow their ideals and dreams make Yukari realize that she has not been enjoying her life and this motivated her to pursue her own dreams.

My opinion: At first sight, the plot may make you think “bleh, wazzat?” but before you know it, you’re already addicted to the story. Just like the plot says, characters are all “eccentric”; each one has his/her problems in life, and you get to know a bit more about them as the story progresses. Needless to say, their personalities are totally different from one to another, which creates quite an unusual/unique atmosphere in the group. Romance speaking, this is more like “adult romance” rather than your usual “school-like” love story. Be advised that from time to time, there may be some nudity in the show.
What else to say.. This anime left a really good impression on me. The atmosphere is a bit unusual so it may not please everyone, but honestly : you’d miss something by not watching it

trying to get this quite long story into 90min? huh nothing good will come out of this, just like with most real action adaptations
I didn't see all the Death Note movie, but it was quite good :p
Sometimes the adaptation is nicely done (although Japanese actors are a bit bad at acting :/).
i saw all death note movies out of boredoom (i watched it when i was going by train to my university) and they were even good, but come on, anime is so much better that watching normal movie is just a waste of time
Don't get me wrong, I didn't say that I didn't prefer the anime to the movie :p
One great perk about the movie was that misa-misa was a hottie. lol
