Almost done for the program.. All that’s left is the update module, some testing of the software “as-is” and a presentation video (cos right now I’m too lazy to make a CHM help file).

I realized that I did not talk about this kind of art yet, so let’s fix this right now.

Unlike the characters drawn by the previous featured artists, these ones have a more “painting-like” look. His drawings often leave a deep impression on me when I look at them. I really feel “sucked in” by the atmosphere surrounding some of his artworks : the colors, the characters’ poses and expressions, everything.
He’s only 21 years old, but I think he’ll do really amazing things in the future if he continues to polish his skills.

Winter 2011 Animes Chart :
The polls for the Winter 2011 Animes chart are now closed. Thanks for everyone who voted.
I will be releasing a first image version of the chart soon, and I will update the flash version at the same time, if anything new has appeared.
Software :
I’m almost done coding a little tool for you people. I don’t want to spoil you all the content just yet, but to sum it up, this little program will allow you to be instantly notified whenever a fansub group or the most popular animes torrent sites releases something new that you are specifically interested in.
I still need some extensive testing because sites all behave differently, but I hope to be releasing it soon.
Fansubbing :
I want to release something new, but I’m not satisfied with the quality of the files I’ve found so far, so this may take a while.
The usual :
Pictures of the day, Japanese Artists, etc.. as always.

Recommended Fansubs: Spoon-Subs [SpoonSubs]
My opinion: A very short series (about 11 minutes per episode, if you strip OP and ED, and 12 episodes long) that may or may not suit your tastes. You need to be a bit knowledgeable about the world surrounding doujins if you want to really appreciate the show. I personally had a good laugh with this one, but I believe you will either like it, or find it terribad.
In any case, this series is short so it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try.
