I’m planning on making a first version of for the “Winter 2011 Animes” chart soon.
Most of you know what the Fall chart looked like, which is why I ask for your opinions.
You can drop comments if you have other ideas, of course.
Voting won’t take more than a minute! Thank you.
Update (26/09/2010) : Polls are now closed. thanks for voting!

Okay, after much delay it’s finally been released.
Check this post to see the new chart and changelog.
This will probably be the last version of this chart. Fall Anime season is just around the corner, so not much point in updating it further. Although, it is still possible that I update it, if there is a need to do so.
Tomorrow, I’ll set some polls for the Winter 2011 chart.
Basically, this will be questions about how you want me to craft the next chart.

Coincidentally, today we’ve reached the 10 000 Neregate visitors. Thanks for lurking around !
Japanese people will never cease to amaze me.
As you probably know, Japan has a deep interest in robots. Below is yet another awesome example of what they are able to do.
- 60cm in size
- 25 servo motors / microcontrollers
- Movements controlled by a 2-axis gyroscope, and a 3-axis accelerometer
- Built-in battery
- Remote control is possible using a wireless PS2 Controller
While the movements are not perfect, the smoothness is still incredible.
First example below (you may skip the first 15 seconds):
MP3 playback was added afterwards, which allowed the synchronization of sound and movement.
Example of application :
It seems it can also play the guitar now. Sugoi deshou? ┐(￣ー￣)┌
Before you ask me, the song from the first video is Bad Apple!! from Masayoshi Minoshima.
You can get it here if you want.

Ucchiey (Kazumasa Uchio)
Simply ( °д°). Even though Ucchiey’s artworks mostly consists of landscapes, you’ll never get bored looking at them: Colorful, wide, and extremely detailed. Check out the leaves or the shape of the clouds, everything is pure awesomeness. It seems that Ucchiey has a liking for dragons, as you often find some of them in his works, be it in the shape of the clouds, or the actual creatures themselves.
Juuzawa Juu is a delinquent high school boy who just wants to be left alone. One day, he is approached by Ochibana Ame, who claims that she knew him in a previous life, and now wants to serve him as his “knight”. At first Juu wants nothing to do with Ame, but after a classmate is murdered, he accepts her help as he looks for the killer.
Okay, so here are the OVAs 1 & 2 of DtnK.
Original subs by Senpachi Fansubs – (Website link)
All translation credits go to them. They did a great job in my opinion.
In their original release, they had some artifacts showing on episode 2. As their translation was pretty solid, I thought it was a waste no to fix the whole thing, so that people like me could archive it. I asked permission to do a fixing, which they kindly accepted.
While I was at it, I took a higher resolution (720×480 -> 1024×576), fixed some minor typos I found here and there, and increased font size accordingly.
Release : here.
Give DtnK a try, it’s really awesome
Be advised though, there are some violent scenes from time to time. It is definitely not intended for minors.
If you find or have any problems, feel free to comment about it.
